    Ricky led the lead in rushing the year before the suspensions. Vince did get to the playoffs. Benson's best year as a longhorn was his freshman year. Most people knew he wasn't going to be a great pro.

    Again, Tarell Brown was a starter and held out of one of the biggest regular season games in Longhorn history. Dre Jones was a 5-star recruit who was cut before he ever stepped on the field.

    Ramonce was an idiot from the time he got to Austin, but he was released as soon as he got into any trouble with the law.

    I respect Mattj a tremendous amount and think he is one of the reasons Clutchfans is so great and unique. I just don't see how he won here though.

    Tarrell Brown, Tim Crowder, Jamaal Charles, Brandon Foster, Michael Huff, DD Lewis, Cullen Loeffler, Frank Okam, Jonathan Scott, Chris Simms, Kasey Studdard, David Thomas, Mike Williams and Rod Wright also say ''what up''. Id say theres been just about as many bad as good in the NFL. Verdict is still out on some, which you'll know in about a year or so.

    I'm going to go out on a limb here and guess that dylan is a UT football fan.....and that he would have a slightly different opinion of all this if the player involved went to OU.

    Just a hunch.

    When I first read the news, I thought Sergio was drunk again, given his history and the recent personal experience of a drunk driver driving into my parents' house. Now, it does look like he just wasn't paying attention to the road when he should have, which all of us have done one time or the other in our lives. I don't think he'll be suspended anymore, but hopefully he'll learn from this lesson.

    Now, this has nothing to do with why Longhorns players don't succeed in the NFL or how Mack has bunch of "thugs" on his team. Mack has always disciplined his players very well, and a number of them DO succeed in the NFL. You guys are missing the fact that far more players fail than succeed in the NFL. You can say that Texas has a lot of players that don't cut it in the NFL, but the same thing can be said about a lot of other programs, such as USC(Leinart, Bush), Ohio State (Troy Smith), etc. We just pay attention to UT players more, because this is a Houston-based message board.
