The Rockets are encouraged because Yao is not feeling any symptoms of the fracture. This is the most important part than any expert's. Hairline fracture is entitled to heal. It will heal soon. But I do not mind someone exaggerating it. It would only make the healing more majic or make Dr.Clanton's job more secure.
Why is ESPN showing footage of when Yao bumped knee's in game 1 of the Lakers series and him limping off the court when that is completely unrelated to his stress fracture. BSPN can't even get it's facts straight.
