    Heard the guy say...

Rockets are looking to sign Gortat from Orlando and making a strong push

Wafer rejected 3.5 million dollar offer and is being replaced

We do not know if Yao is out or not. Still too much in the air.

It would be a great news if we could sign Gortat. It's also good for him. He will be the starting C before Yao recovers from the injury.

For Wafer, we don't really need him any more.

Wafer rejected $3.5 million a year? Or is that the total for a multi-year deal?

    Gortat/Hayes
    Scola/Landry
    Battie/White/Burdinger(sp?)
    Ron/Von?/Taylor
    Brooks/Lowry

With true motion offense and one of the best defense in the NBA we can be competitive we could win 40-50 games. Is it worth it? I don't know.

Which crazy b**** offers Wafer 3.5 millions? It's like Wafer winning a lottery. I offer Wafer the Hayes contract. I hope Wafer won't end up playing in Europe. :)

That's exactly what I don't want to see. Some may argue it's only the MLE,but that thinking process is typical of Les. Wanting to go big,and then getting stuck.

The Hammer is only 25 years old, young enough for the rebuilding phase.

Ron must be coming back into the fold then. Makes sense right? If you're pushing for Gortat, you(they) probably feel we're still contenders.
