It feels like he closed his eyes, spun the globe and pointed. Yes, Bosh would be great. But is there any likelyhood at all? That's what I want to read about.
i still just want rubio. we just need to start over. i love yao but he is done, your cash cow is done. just get it over with

His contract is up at the end of the season and there is NO WAY he is resigning with the Raptors. If I was the Raptors knowing next season we are not contenders and are about to lose our best player I would be all over a deal that would include say Brooks and Landry with Macs expiring.
Better than I expect from Justice. Nice job. At this point, I'd be thrilled with his scenario. Bosh would be awesome, if we can get him. God knows, we need something to give us hope and Les needs something to sell season tickets... better Bosh than Amare, in my opinion.
No way you trade Yao now, even if it was considered before. That would be an act of betrayal I would never want to be associated with. We wait and see how his injury plays out. If he doesn't play for a year, then we manage without him, as hard as that would be. If he can't return after a year, we deal with it then. Anything else is unthinkable. Trade McGrady and ? for Bosh and a pick? Right on! We might be the ones sending a pick, however, unless we give up some talent.
I'm getting really tired of all this retroactive history that says Yao is a disappointment because everyone expected him to be one of the best centers of all time. I was a Rockets fan in the Francis/Mobley days, and we got nothing but grief for picking him instead of taking Jay Williams or trading the pick. The consensus of the opinion writers that preseason was that he'd be the Chinese Shawn Bradley, and people were really, really shocked when he had those first few breakout games (35-10 against the Mavericks on the day Charles kissed Kenny's ass comes to mind). Now that Yao's career might be over, I'm hearing these same sportswriters call him a bust because he wasn't Hakeem Olajuwon? Please.
1) Zach Randolph + DeAndre Jordan for Tracy McGrady. We get a 20-10 PF and a young, mobile center and the Clips move a big contract and a player they won't be using any time soon. 2) Sign and trade Ron Artest + Luis Scola to Toronto for Chris Bosh. They get two really strong players, including the type of foreign player Toronto loves, for a player that is leaving anyway. We get Chris Bosh. 3) Re-sign Wafer with part of the MLE and maybe Chris Mihm with the rest. C -- Bosh / Jordan / Mihm PF -- Randolph / Landry SF -- Battier / White SG -- Budinger / Wafer / Taylor PG -- Lowry / Brooks IR -- Yao / Hayes / Cook / Dorsey / Barry (trade two not named Yao for draft picks)
Why in the **** would you touch Zach Randolph and his contract with a 10 ft pole? You must be just as crazy as the Clippers and Grizzlies GM, one was stupid enough to accept the trade, another was stupid enough to nix the trade.
I'm not a fan of Randolph, but this gives us size and height in the front court with an array of match-up options. We have a fast set of back court players who can shoot.
I just watched on the news that Morey is heavily after Gortat, and that Wafer refused a 3.5mil offer from the Rockets', and that he will be replaced.
Morey, Coach A, the ball is now in your court. Let's see what you got! Make some waves! Landing Rubio now sounds so much better! Do It To It!
