Major is a UT alum and is still managing to view this objectively. Rep points.

I have always been under the impression that it was illegal to leave the scene of any major accident (i.e. car can not drive away, major property damage) without removing the vehicle (down the street would not count) and without immediately notifying the owner. If no owner could immediately be found or the property is public, then you call the cops and file a police report. A lot of times it makes more sense to call the cops regardless because the police report is the best documentation of the accident you can get.

Your analysis of Kindle and UT football would be really interesting in a thread that wasn't talking about a player with a previous DWI conviction *crashing into an apartment* and fleeing the scene of the accident. Your post is akin to making recommendations of where to party in New Orleans in a Katrina thread.

It makes perfect sense. We are talking about Baqui99. The last man remaining who thinks the Texans screwed up by drafting Mario instead of Vince.

Apparently Okafor looked pretty solid in spring practice. Expect him to crack the 2-deep this fall.

And those three represent "most UT players"? Yeah, you've shown yourself to be pretty objective.

So the three players that prove UT players don't translate into the NFL includes a pro-bowl ROY QB (which almost never happens), a pro-bowl running back w/ 4 straight thousand yard seasons, and ... Cedric Benson (though he might turn it around with the Bengals, 750 yds in 12 games after missing large chunk of training camp and early season is nothing to laugh at).

I'd say even the UT "busts" do pretty well in the league.

At least Kindle used his head didn't call the cops. Now it is going to be hard to prove he was drunk.

Let's see...backup, backup, backup and Houston missed the games against the crap teams. How many chances did Romancing the Taylor get? This is Kindle's 2nd transgression. You think Mac is going to do anything to him? Of course not, he's a star.

Agreed. Mack has duped people into thinking that he's got a bunch of quality individuals in his family-run program at UT, but really he's got a collection of thugs and criminals. The objective is to win at all costs, even if the team is a bunch of low-lifes.

First, I don't understand your argument. Which starters have gotten in trouble that Mack should have punished? So now it's a negative that his backups are the ones that screw up?

Second, Tarell Brown was our starting CB coming into the game against Ohio St. It would have been nice to have him in that game, as tOSU's receivers destroyed us.

And to answer your Taylor question. One. He was arrested on felony possession of mar1juana, and we cut him loose. He was accused of being involved with some trouble on 6th street, but the charges were dropped. (That being said, most UT fans I know think Ramonce is an absolute idiot, and did not like someone like him representing our University.)

I also forgot to add that Dre Jones was a 5-star prospect coming out of HS, and Mack cut him loose before his freshman year. Pretty good odds he would not have been a backup.

    What's an "aggy"?

I know what an Aggie is but not quite sure what "aggy" is, maybe Baqui can help.
