    Rockets center Yao Ming’s left foot injury could be severe enough to be season ending or even career-threatening depending on the success of potential treatments chosen, Rockets team physician Tom Clanton said Monday.

    well it looks like him not feeling pain is a good thing.

    we can only hope for the best and that they'll find a way to get yao missing as little time as possible (and saving his career).

    Wow, this era of TMAC and Yao has SUCKED.

    Nothing hurts more than to see them repeatedly get injured and sidelined.

    I'm ready to move on from Yao if this article is at all true. If not, then damn the media once again for playing with my emotions.

    Time to move on and build on to our core of quicker, more agile and entertaining players.

    Bring on athleticism and quick ball movement like we had in the series against the Lakers.

    Well, as long as we just get a lotto pick, next years draft should be stacked. I'll let you know how high Cousins and Patterson should go in about 8 months.

    They aren't likely to be able to sustain it over 82 games. Ron probably won't want to resign here without Yao. Without him we are likely a lottery team. DM also knows we would be better off by trading veterans like Luis and Shane. Starting from scratch is the only way out.

    yeah, but it's not confirmed. i have not physically been shruken down and injected into yao's foot to take a look for myself.

    Ideal scenario: They put Yao's foot in a cast, give it have more time to heal, and it heals.

    Worst case scenario: They operate on the foot which runs the risk of him not playing again.
