Soooo.... my license expired on 5-10-2009. I tried to renew online and it tells me I've already renewed so I can't do it again. But I never did renew. The lady at the local place told me I'll have to contact TXDOT at 512-424-2600. So I call them. They have an automated system that doesn't allow me to get through to a live person, I have to press options. So after sitting through 20 minutes of voice recordings, it tells me to call 866-357-3639 to discuss DL Renewal issues. So I call them. Automated response: "The system is not able to process your request. Please contact 512-424-2600" Other than the Ghostbusters, who am I supposed to call now? LOL
Just suck it up and go to one of the drivers license offices. Since its already expired you can't renew online or by phone anymore.
I think you have to go in person b/c they changed the licenses to this awful new format. It looks fake
Didn't I tell you? I went to the local one and it showed as already renewed. Anyway, I just spoke to someone (finally) and she isn't sure what the system was doing but she fixed it and then the website finally let me renew. Nicest lady I've ever talked to on the phone.
I think you're screwed - same thing happened to my mom this month when trying to renew online. Ended up gong to a driver license office.
Put the back of ur new driver license to UV lights and it'll show a hologram of ur picture in the back too. I believe
Did you have them check the time it was renewed and verify the address? My brother got his identity stolen this year, so I wonder if this is the case.
