Yeah, what a bummer. RIP, MJ. I hope he has found some peace, anyway.

A jury of both of their peers acquitted both of them. Stop going back and writing revisionist history. The reason we have a court system is for the sole purpose of avoiding lynch mobs like you seem to be a part of.

I agree... I've always been a big fan of Michael. They did say he was recording a CD - I wonder if they'll release it posthumously? What a sad day!

    RIP MJ....RIP!

I agree. These Internet message board lynch mobs are getting out of hand!

This doesn't hit me near as hard as it would have 15 years ago, but still sad nonetheless.

Billie Jean is possibly my favorite song of all time.

    RIP

He was a weirdo but whatever, takes me back to being 9 years old and treasuring my "Thriller" and "Victory" cassettes....I'll miss the dude.

I always wondered how he'd age. I still never imagined him dying of old age for some odd reason and never thought he'd die this relatively young. He's still one of the greatest entertainers I've ever seen.

Anyone else old enough to remember when the video for Thriller came out, and MTV would only show it after midnight for fear it would freak out the children?

    I feel so old.

Are you joking? I remember when Michael was a kid, singing and dancing like no one else. A sad day.

I know what you mean. It's almost like we thought he'd just live forever.

We'll see, maybe like Tupac, he'll have tons of unreleased material.

    I love this song :

I used to stay glued to MTV and VH1.
I'm having a hard time watching the draft, because I can't focus with all these michael jackson videos being played.

Nah, BET's been showing Michael vids since 8pm. They had a break between 7-8 to show something else but Black Entertainment Television has been showing Michael vids since 8pm because I think Black Entertainment Television realize Michael helped advance the cause and image of Black people and is one of the few artists to cross all boundaries, races and nationalities so that is something America as a whole and the Black American community have to be proud of.

I bet you Osama Bin Laden was listening to Michael while growing up. Wouldn't be surprised if Kim Jong Il and others of their ilk did their fair share of Michael listening.
