I like Lawson as a floor general, Teague as an outside shooter but he doesn't have as much heart. But I like neither as much as Aaron Brooks, so I think Morey realizes that the barrier to dealing for a pick is much higher than just trading for veteran commodities which teams are tired of. In contrast a pick is filled with all the potential that that young player brings in--he could be a stud, a franchise changer, just so long as he is an unknown quantity still. At their hearts GM's are just little boys salivating at the prospect of a new toy. That's not a market for Morey to take advantage of. He'll make something of tonight still, I trust him until he does something to warrant my loss of trust.
Yes it is possible, but for what would minny want? They have 3 pg's now. They got to have something going on behind the scenes! Please be Houston I wish something would happen. I am losing faith
Live from the Rockets' War Room! Jun 25, 2009 8:15 One thing I should point out here: The Rockets' brain trust has an IM system set up that keeps a lot of vocal chatter to a minimum. You can still tell when there's an air of excitement, of course, but often you have to rely on subtle body language rather than audible conversation. Makes for a very interesting dynamic.
