Yao Ming Medical Update

What the hell did they do to Ilgauskas? He has not had foot problems in years.

 

Because Yao gained +50pounds. Ever since he hired Anthony Falsone. That guy is training a guy like Yao the wrong way. Yao isn't 6' 7".

 

Well Yao is supposedly trying to lose 20 pounds to be around 300lbs. So who knows.......

 

i'm worried about yao's injury, but he has the whole summer to heal and i don't mind at all if he misses some of the early games to get 100% healthy.

As I recall, a stressed fracture takes 4-5 months to fully recover. Well, it has only been more than 1 month so far.

Do you want people to prove Yao is not a X-man or Hulk material?

I actually want Yao to rest 7-9 months, so he can warm up 2-3 months before the playoffs and play his max during the playoffs.

 

That's ridiculous. What? The Rockets are making it up? It's not like China can't have one of their own docs look at him to determine if he can play or not yet. They can't just make **** up.

As much as I want this to be just "smokescreen," I highly doubt thats the case.

 

b/c he plays way less, less offensive responsibilities, made into a 3rd/4th option, and nobody cares if he plays well or not.

unless we have that type of pressure on yao (zero), then his injuries should go away.
