Very simple question that I have never seen a good answer to: How, specifically, is Yao a cash cow for the Rockets? Merch is spread evenly among the nba teams, so that isn't it. Anyone have a concrete answer?
Not a concrete answer, but a damn good guess. He's asian, so he bring in a HUGE part of the asian community to watch the Houston Rockets play. Granted, people who love the Rockets will still come to watch, but more asians who just like Yao will come too.
