Draft Deke

    This thread was created as a petition for Mutombo to come out of retirement as he has done in the past, to play one more year with the Rockets, and retire with a Ring...

    Deke is the perfect backup Center the Rockets need because he has shown what he can do with Yao out, minus the heavy sticker price.

    He knows Adelman's system, the players, and provides motivation, leadership, guidance, coaching, and makes great Rockets PR and the NBA a "Better Place" with his Humanitarian efforts...

    Dikembe Mutombo is an All-in-One package.

    Rox would not need to draft a backup Center or trade for one if Deke chooses to play with the them next season.

    Why do you want him back and why not?


    Can the Power of ClutchFans persuade Deke to come back?

    The guy is done. Even if you wanted him back, he probably wouldnt come back. Havent we told him we were championship contenders the past few years that he's been coming back? He's gone, let him be.

    Even without Deke, Yao,and Tmac, Rox contended with the Lakers who were the NBA Champions, so Rox were arguably Championship contenders last season...

    Let it go! Why would a 40 something year old man want to go through rehab and conditioning and everything else only to play sparingly at best? Its not worth it. Hes done.

    i think the perfect backup center would be able to log more minutes during the regular season.
