Hopefully Dallas reacts to the SA trade just like they reacted to the Pau Gasol and Shaquille Oneal trades in giving away an allstar PG in Devin Harris for an old Jason Kidd. The Jefferson trade was a good trade for SA, but its not an over the top type trade, there big problem is at center.
I'm wondering if Morey plans on resigning Artest. If they're trying to pick up a 2 guard, I don't see a reason to sign both Wafer and Artest unless you're trying to have a monster bench. But at the same time, I don't believe you want to pay Artest $8-10 Million for him to sit on the bench.
But what would put them over the top is if SA can get Rasheed Wallace or Mcdyess to sign for 3 or 4 million.
