I still think that if we get to the Top 10 we'll be picking for someone else as part of another deal.

I would probably trade the pick if those three were gone...

I can't see anyone coming out of this draft that would be an impact player for us this year. Maybe next year or the year after. The possible exception would be Thabeet, but there has been a bunch of negative speak on this board about him and I know not except by reputation. We have gambled and lost several straight years on a b/u center and I don't know how much longer that will fly.

I'd really want James Harden if we move to the top spot. We really need a consistent spot-up shooter to make people pay for collapsing on Yao, and Harden is that guy. His profile also includes creating shots and scoring in transition as his biggest strengths, and those are things we need from a guard as well, as both Landry and Brooks like to run and we tend to suffer from offensive droughts from time to time. Unfortunately Harden's stock has risen so high some boards are projecting him going as high as 2 or 3. If he's gone I vote we get Terrence Williams instead.

Thabeet won't make an impact this year, he's much too raw and skinny to be anything more than cannon fodder. Traditionally Bigs take years before they can contribute meaningfully to their team, its the guards that make an impact right away. My guess is Curry and Budinger would probably make the most impact since they are already lights-out shooters.

Curry to the Knixies at #5 (#8 and Chandler to Minny).

Rox #10 from Buxies (Landry/Barry - Gadz) get Clark (or is it Henderson? Holiday, maybe?).

All just considered speculation. Of course.

If the Rox can get high enough, I think they would get Rubio. If not, James Hayden would more likely be Morey's choice..

    after Rubio you mean ;)

But seriously, I have a feeling about Flynn. I agree, he's going to be a good player. I'd love to see us trade into #8 and grab him.

Harden should not even be in this poll as there's no way in hell he lasts past #5

Flynn would be good,Evans is all right,Hill as well. Harden would be the best of the lot,but he will be gone. I wouldn't go after Curry. He is slow and can't defend anyone,Holiday can't shoot and hasn't played the point in college.Henderson is too high to be in the top 10,and Clark is erratic. DeRozen might be ok,but he is an up and down guy as well.

I just dont get all the Curry love. Guys like him rarely transition in the NBA. Offense wins games, Defense wins Championships!!!
