I agree, it happens particularly in music threads. The truth is, I DON'T KNOW the majority of popular pop stars right now. I'm not proud of it and I'm not ashamed of it, I just don't know and that's the end of it. If I see a thread w/ someone I never heard of I either click it out of curiosity to learn who this person is and move on, or don't open it at all. I don't feel the need to inform everyone of how cool I am because I don't listen to popular music or watch popular TV. I just found it very amusing that the majority of replies are people talking about how they don't know what people are talking about.
Well, we should all be happy to know that Jon & Kate remain as grounded and genuine as the day they cashed in their 8 precious meal tickets: Rawr!
new hairstyles and fashion doesn't really change who you are...the way jon's been treated by kate on that show from the very beginning leads me to believe that it wasn't the show that turned her into an emasculating beyotch.
I just did some googling on these two. Apparently Kate has a book called: "Multiple Bles8ings". Anyone else think "Multiple Ble$$ings" would have been more fitting?

How does the 8 even fit in? It doesn't even make a sound close to an 's'. It would've been better as the B but how can you replace an 's' with an '8'? Ugh...housewives these days don't know 1337.

Speaking of American Chopper, that show has went to crap IMO. They hardly ever show the actual fabrication, and making of the bikes anymore. I remember when they used to split up the making of a bike into two episodes, and showed almost everything that went into making it. Now they sometimes cram 2 bikes into one show. On the Jon and Kate thing, that was the first time I had ever seen anything to do with them on the American Chopper special. Kate is kind of a bizznitch IMO.
I take it you dont have kids. Or....you found one of the rare women in this world that don't gain any weight while pregnant, and after having a baby or 2... or 8. a hair cut, dye and makeup = $100. what a terrible mom she must be. She has had some serious plastic surgery dude. Nose job and chin implant at the very least. You also don't just lose all of that neck skin once the weight goes away.
Yep. I blame the media for ruining their marriage. I went to walmart today, and I saw a magazine saying she was caught hitting one of her children. Now last time I checked, since when is it a crime to discipline your child. I don't give a rats a** about publicity and media and all them other bastards trying to tell you how to deal with your children/family. If I popped out 8 effn kids, then I have the right to whoop their ass when they step out of line.
well, I am guilty as charged for not keeping up with the plus 8 circus. Double chins/neck skin can disappear with good ole fashion exercise.
I did some researching today and both the mother and father have had surgeries. They are "perks" of the show. The mother has had a tummy tuck and facial work and the father has had hair implants.
there was like a whole episode about it... it was actually pretty cool to see how they did it (my sister told me to watch it- this is just about the only episode ive seen).
They showed both surgeries on the show. Tummy tuck was kind of interesting too, especially the before and after shots. Don't recall seeing one where Kate had facial work done though. (Yes, I watched a lot of the show. )
