Hey i didn't know where to post this so i put it here... does anybody know if 2k will put the draft picks from this year into the game? it would be good because the gap from the draft till the next game is quite a long time.
Not a chance; it's never happened before. They'll never, ever do this because they want to minimize the number of people who keep one game for a few years rather than buying each new one.
yeah they never do this but with the 2k share rosters they have this year you can download the 09 draft class from a lot of the people out there who made them. That's what I did and I already tested out all my favorite rookies on the Rockets.
i doubt 2K Sports will update roster after 2K10 is out. If you have the PC version, you can probably download them off http://forums.nba-live.com/
There's a good 09 draft 2k shareroster that has all the 1st round rookies in the free agency pool. The ratings are pretty close to what you would probably see from 2k10 when it comes out(trust me I'm an NBA 2k junky) with the exception of a few things here and there. I downloaded it few days ago and I have to say... Hasheem Thabeet is a beast! I had him play next Yao in the post and they literally locked it down. I don't remember the person's XBL GamerTag who made the roster (I'll maybe post it later when I have the chance) but I think it was the first one on the list of 09 Draft rosters. Just do a search for "09 NBA Draft" on the game and you should find it. It's the best 09 NBA draft roster I seen so far and you're not getting the 09 rookies anywhere else than there until 2k10 hits store shelves in a couple of months. happy gaming.
