    REALLY? He got his head bandaged up and the blood was straight up pouring through.

    If anything the Egyptian goal keeper is the man of the match. :rolleyes:

    From what I understand, if the scores remain, USA would advance as they have the most goals scored (USA 4, Italy 3) in all group matches.

    I doubt Spain will show the US team the same lack of respect that Egypt did.

    I don't get people calling Altidore out. He's the reason a lot of the other runs were available for guys out there. Every team we've played have named him, Donovan and Onyewu as the best players on the field.

    Also, the Spain match SCREAMS for an Adu start. He did extremely well against them when we last played them.

    Un-freaking-believable. Crushed by Italy. Completely embarrassed by Brazil. Wondering who's getting fired and released from the National Team. And today? They advance anyway to play Spain. I said before the tournament I'd be happy with 3 points. I don't f***ing care how they got there, they got there.

    Countdown until SwoLy comes in and says they don't deserve it because one of the goals that got them through was a penalty? or that they only beat Egypt?
