But who knows if Les is focused more on money or winning......if it were my team.....well......I would sell it while Yao was on it...

I know and thats part of my problem. If you know how to market your team like Detroit and even dallas that are worth more and almost the same as the rockets without yao, then thats proof in the pudding.

if yao gets injured one more time next season, i doubt he will play again when his contract expires. next season is huge for him in terms of his health.

You want more than a hand full of players I would take over Yao? Keep in mind if we lost Yao we would definitely have to add another great person in the post.

    Kobe
    Lebron
    D-Wade
    Chris Paul
    Dwight Howard
    Kevin Garnett

He is still young enough and unless if it is a chronic injury then He still will play for 5 to 7 more years. Will it be productive years? Hard to say.

Yes - S&T to the Clippers for expiring contracts, maybe Blake Griffin & draft picks. Also the Warriors - Yao would be a draw there too.

I only see Kobe, Lebron, and perhaps Howard, are better than or as good as Yao. Wade is a player with great stats but I am not sold that he can make the Rockets a better team without Yao in the middle.

It would be insane to think that Garnett will do any better than Yao. Most team will be happy to trade Garnett for Yao.

I am not high on Paul at all. Granted, he is a great point guard. But this league is built around big perimeter players like Kobe and Lebron, definitely not players with the size like Paul.

So basically you mean there are no players the Rockets can achieve to take over Yao?

What is the rockets record when yao doesn't play? I bet its a whole lot better than alot of other franchise playes when they don't play and that my point.

he should go. the coach has no idea how to use him.

    they way over play him

    no back up for him
no other team in the league would use him the way the rockets do. yao goes to another team it will add years to his career

I love Yao as much as the next guy but I feel like he isn't getting any younger and with his size his window is closing quickly. I'd love to see him play another 4 or 5 years as a dominant center but there is just no guarantees. I feel that Yao will retire in Red, but who knows truly?
