Although I do think it’s kind of a double-edged sword in that Kubiak is more conservative in the red zone because he knows he has as close to an automatic kicker as you can get, but that’s another thread….

it was a tender offer to a restricted free agent, based on factors beyond the texans' control. it's in no way indicative of how much they may (or may not) value owen daniels.
