I like Jada Pinkett Smith but if the previews are any indication there is some horrible acting going on in the show. I didn't see the premiere tonight, though.
the commercials looked like crap- "I care about my patients, but im not afraid to bend the rules." Couldn't have been more direct about what shes all about. Also, an RN making controversial calls? yeah RIGHT. A nurse would get fired in like .4 seconds if he/she undermined the doctor on a regular basis.
NURSES ARE HARD-WORKING, UNAPPRECIATED, STRONG WOMEN WHO ARE BOTH STERN, KIND, FIERCELY-INDEPENDENT AND EXTREMELY SASSY.
That show is actually pretty good. And as for those who complained about something not being realistic - I have yet to see a medical show on TV(besides Trauma Life in the ER....I love that show) be too ultra realistic.
One of them is on Showtime, the other is on Cable Television. Not hard to figure out which one would be good.
I will have to watch it. I was interested in seeing how it does against the Show Time Show Funny how we love shows that showcase people we'd never want to work with it or be in there care. I been to the ER. I think if the nurses were [MORE] sarcastic and meanspirited I would have lost it . .. . Rocket River
I'm not a fan of Jada Pinkett's acting ability. I do get a chuckle from the commercials where they state that they wanted to do a medical drama from the nurse perspective because no one has done that before. Give me a break. There are plenty of nurse-centric medical shows out there. I don't expect this show will last.
i am sick of this show and i've never seen it. the radio commercials kill me. "once in a generation, a television show comes along that captures america's heart". there are so many things wrong with that sentence that i'm not even going to bother commenting further.
