I hope Morey doesn't sign old players to Elton Brand deals. I have faith in Morey to work out a reasonable deal with Artest. I hate to say it, but alot of the shots Artest made were lucky. He takes the strangest shots and they won't fall forever. Although he shot a nice percentage, he's a couple of seasons away from being the new Mike James. We all like him. He's very personable, but I don't think I can stand watching him take those shots anymore.

And that's why I'd trade him for Turkaglue. Some of you are saying Tracy for Hedo plus fillers...We'd need a very large filler. Like the size of Rashard Lewis' contract, and it would make no sense for both teams to do this.

I'll take Hedo over Artest any day of the year. He's a very very under rated passer to the post. Although Dwight makes it alot easier he does have some pretty good skills playing with a big man. You can never have too many players that can pass to the post. This will only make Yao an even bigger threat. Landry and Ron Artest for Hedo and Gortat. Get it done Morey.

Only if Gordon, Ariza, Odom, Wafer and various other free agents are off the board as well. As good as Turkoglu is, I'd rather have one of those guys instead because what Hedo brings in offense, I don't see in defense and his offense isn't that good all the time.

    Agree!
Once DH in the post, the ball is immediately passed to him by Hedo. Hedo is the best fit for Rockets. With him Rockets offense has much more versality.

Hedo also has very good ball handling skills also....he can do point guard duties so if lowry or brooks are turning it over hedo can control it...and i think hedo would actually get it to Yao more than Artest tries lol

I think if memphis offers him a large sum, he's gone. Think about it, he was a middle 1st rd pick, then he signed for the mle. If you line him up next to Big Al and Kevin Love, they would have a very good base. Minny might offer 5 yrs 60 m and its a wrap.

Hedo is a poor man's McGrady. Despite his stunning and clutch playoff performance there is no need for a chucker.

I could live with that if he were a solid defender.

He played some pretty solid defense on Kobe during the end of game 2. Although Turkoglu is sketchy at times, we don't get much defense out of our $21 million dollar superstar. I think our team defense could mask his defensive flaws.
