that's slightly misleading, but accurate. Mobley is one year from Big Bird status (3 years without switching teams via free agency), but if we use the Early Bird on him as Murphy suggest, that contract must be for at least 2 years. A middle class exception can be for a 1 yr contract. Early Birds must be for at least 2 years.
