The Cavaliers are the hot rumor right now, and it figures, because Cleveland General Manager Danny Ferry has to convince his superstar LeBron James that he's making moves to improve the club.

This rumor had Shaq going to Dallas, reportedly in exchange for Erick Dampier and Jerry Stackhouse.

There also were rumors that O'Neal might be headed to Chicago in exchange for Luol Deng, Tim Thomas and at least one other player.

Where do ya'll think he's going?

Cavs are the only team that makes sense. They are the only one he can win a title with, and therefore the only team that is going to get a happy Shaq.

Tell him to take a paycut and maybe we are talking bout playing second fiddle to Yao. Wouldn't mind him being around teaching Yao how to play like a dominant big man. Also once in a while Shaq and Yao on floor at the same time would wreak havoc on other teams. Honestly, Shaq's personality is pretty fun to be around especially since he knows time is up and he will have to be role player in order to mine so more rings before his career is done.

To the thread creator, did you mean 'Shaqtus' ?

To answer the question, I'm not sure. I'll make a decision when I've heard more free agency talk and what now.

I've been scratching my head wondering what the title was supposed to be a play on. Now it makes sense (way off btw OP).

To JusBleezy; did you mean what not? ;) :p

To answer your question I was trying to figure out how it was spelled, originally I had Shaqtus then changed it to Shaqtuc. Sorry!

I don't think he'll ever submit to backing up Yao, IMO, I think he'll be a Cav next year. But I may be wrong.

To answer your question: Yes and I really dislike you pointing it out. :)

I asked because I was wondering if Shaq had come up with a new moniker I hadn't heard of yet. Guy has a thousand of them. Not to point out your mistake, gah. :D

Btw, looks like you have the Flash's number wrong there.

Jking, I'm sure you have a completely separate meaning besides Dwyane Wade there. Riggght?..... ;)

That would be an EXCELLENT trade for the mavs imho and one that they shouldn't even have to think about. The decision falls with the Suns on that one I would imagine.

Shaq providing the inside presence with Dirk, J-Ho, SG of some kind and JKidd will be a decent team.

    My bet is the Cavs.

Whichever team gets O'Neal is going to get their money's worth, at least for next season. I bet he's going to be extremely motivated after watching Bryant and Jackson get a ring without him.

Put Shaq together with an equally hungry Lebron James and things should get really interesting.

Foosball, lol. Nice. Were you drawing fouls at will against the opposing team's players? Your moniker would be even more appropriate then.

..... do they even have fouls in foosball? I need to do a little research... :)

No they have penalties (flags). I was meaning football. It was a Waterboy referenced joke.

Dude you're funny. Is your moniker a spin off Just Blaze? Serious question.

You are CORRECT sir! I'm impressed. Most people ask me if I get high or something.

And yeah, sorry about the Waterboy joke. I completely missed it. I mean people do play foosball. Make a "Hitchhikers Guide to the Galaxy" joke and we'd be on the same page though.

You may have something there. After seeing Kobe's smugness after winning a championship "without Shaq", Shaq may like the Rockets total team (defense & offense) better than the Cavs. What better redemption than taking the Kobe Lakers out of the Western Conference playoffs on the way to a 5th ring with the Rockets. :D

I'm pretty sure Shaq's ego isn't as big as it was 4-5 years ago.

Who wouldn't want to jump on the Rockets' bandwagon right?

They have the best center in the league. They were the only team to take the champs to 7 games.

Shaq and Yao balance each other out just fine.

Comparing Shaq and Yao's personalities is like comparing Battier and Artest.

Yao and Battier are the smart kids in school. They don't screw around; they compete hard, and complete their business without talking.

Shaq and Artest are those jocks that bully people; this is why they are so respected on the court, and why everyone talks about how its a challenge to play them.

If Artest and Battier can coexist on the same team, same floor every night, then Yao and Shaq should be able too.
