That was the most apathetic celebration I have ever seen for any championship ever. The Lakers looked bored and were like "Ho Hum....I'm happy!"
Does Shaq know how to actually SMILE:)
Jeezuz they just won the world championship and they were lame about it!!!
I did like Shaq's comment on Kidd being the "real MVP!" That was nice!!
But over all I guess it was just another day at the office for the Lakers and Jackson!!!
Well when the Rockets are winning championship with the Ming in the Middle, we'll have the entire world celebrating!!

I LOVED IT! Everyone wanted the nets to win at least one game. I WANTED the Lakers to win in New Jersey. This had to be the most boring celebration ... just the way I wanted it for the Lackers. When the Rockets and Jordon won, EVERYONE rushed to the floor. This time it seemed like they just wanted to hit the showers and head on home.

It goes back to that whole saying, "Act like you've been there before." And obviously, most of the team has, MANY times. I'm sure many players were more relieved than anything else, and the fact that they did it on the opponent's court had a lot to do with the minimized celebration. It's not like the Nets' arena was going to drop down confetti and balloons for them....

I did like Shaq's "Kidd" comments as well. Nothing like taking shots at the Spurs, even while they have been nothing but roadkill for about a month now....

Who was the first team to accept the trophy on the floor, the Bulls or Rockets?

Yeah... first time I've seen those jackets... I think whoever designed those is now out of a job.

Any signs of Jim "the rat" Gray around the locker room last night?

The only part of the game I saw last night was "the tribute to the nba by nbc, with much love" ending video.

You act suprised. The entire series sucked so what should we expect. Anyone that expected the Nets to actually make this series interesting needs a brain scan.

Am I the only one that didn't watch one single game from this series??

One of the things I was most grateful for when we won our two was the fact that we clinched both of them at home.

Some people like to win on the other guys home floor so they can hear the groaning of the other teams fans but I thought it was so cool that Houston got to celebrate "along" with our team the moment they won both of them.

I remember Richmond being wall to wall screaming people the night the rocks won. Me and a bunch of friends rode up and down that street(in the club section) for a couple of hours and then parked along the side of the road and screamed for another couple. " Aaaaah, Good Times".

You know I wonder. I think the lakers had homecourt advantage(could be wrong) against both the pacers(4-2) and sixers(4-1) but I can`t remember if they were using 2-2-1-1-1 or 2-3-2 formats then.

That would really "suck" for the lakers if they did not get to celebrate with their own fans even 1 time on their home court .

Its been 2-3-2 since the mid 80s. They got to celebrate their first title at home.
