I know nothing about Weaver. What I have seen of Wondo is a forward with a poor first touch and poor finishing skills.

Once again, I have to trust in the Dynamo front office and Dom that they know what they are doing. Could be that Wondo requested a trade somewhere he could get more time. At least he gets to be closer to home.

Yeah, Wondo never impressed in any of the games I saw him play in but I will say he had heart just not as skilled as we would have liked. With Ching out for possibly a while and that scare last Friday, I can see why they would make this move.

I hate giving up draft picks in any sport but Weaver is pretty young so I guess it all works out.

I figured this would just be a lateral trade and we were doing Wondo a favor so he could go back home and maybe get more playing time, but with Weaver starting tonight and playing pretty well it looks like Dom knew what he was doing.

I was sold on Weaver before I am after the FC Dallas game.

Talk about an embarrassment of riches at the forward position when Ching returns healthy.

I went to the game last night and it was great as usual. Beating FC Dallas is always great and seeing almost as many Dynamo fans as FCD fans was just cruel to FCD.

Once again it appears Dom has hoodwinked San Jose and NYRB in getting Cam and Dom.Oduro. Two players that were languishing at the aforementioned teams are now flourishing under D.Kinnear in less than 5 matches for their new team.

    IN DOM WE TRUST! :D

They got an expansion team but kept their name and records, much like when Cleveland (re)entered the NFL. We would be akin to the Ravens with the 'Quakes being Cleveland.

Weaver seems to be doing pretty well so far. How old was Wondolowski?
