Dude, as far as the finals go, the Lakers more or less stomped on Orlando. It wasn't a completely dismantling, but you'd have to be a homer or crazy to actually believe that Orlando was going to pull it off. First off, it was over in five games. Two of the five games were blowouts. Within the series, Orlando had three games at home, to Lakers' two. The only one game that Orlando won was a hard-fought game.
I guess I never noticed they give the trophy and finals mvp at center court even if the road team wins. Orlando fans were classy. I'm surprised they weren't chanting "rapist" when Kobe received the finals mvp.
i thought these 2 teams were even and it would be decided in 7 games. the rockets put up more fight than the magic and that was only the first round. anyway, my congrats to the lakers.
I just threw up in my mouth. Just now when ABC was doing a Lakers montage, they called Derek Fisher a "classy veteran". I didn't know classy veterans threw cheap shot elbows.
To be honest it was more about the Lakers arrogance and not respecting the Rockets. They obviously didn't take Orlando for granted.
