i'm sorry, which side of this +/- fence are you on?

fish is having his best series, but you don't see that as having anything to do with rafer's minutes being screwed around to play jameer, who hasn't played in 4 months?

as someone else pointed out, it wasn't as simple as him closing out, he was caught on the pass

well its dumb when you compare a guy who played 27 min to one who played 4

Nelson had time to close out fisher. He was set in his defensive stance when Fisher shot the ball. he just decided to play back about 2 feet too far

and this is what people are basing the fact that he shouldn't have been in the game on, ignoring that he was in the quarter when they came back after blowing it in the third

2 big chances for the magic to win the game.

    1. free throw by Howard
    2. Good D.

    they blew them both.

if they wanted to protect the 3, they should have put in a quick and taller guys, not Nelson.

no you are, jameer played 27 minutes, his +/- is significant not battie's or gortat's who played 4

I understand the Magic came back while Nelson was in the game but it wasn't like he was lighting it up while out there. He had 2 pts. and 3 assist in 27 minutes. I could see if he had 20 pts. or about 10 assist but he had neither.

I guess Howard and Lewis should have sat on the bench for the last 17 minutes also, since they had the worst +/- on the team.

Is Jameer Nelson playing like an all-star since coming back from his injury?

You are arguing for argue's sake.

What made Nelson an all-star? Nelson's shootings. Not his defense, not his assists/turnovers ratio, which Alston has an edge on both this season.

Has Nelson been shooting/scoring well in this series? We are talking about .50 FG% and .45 3P% which made Nelson an all-star. You tell me your answer.

So, Nelson has been playing beyond ordinary and he's still an all-star to you because he was picked once as an all-star when he's red hot in shootings in the first half of this season??? That's your logic.

no my logic is his team came back with him, his team lost the lead with rafer. all the other arguments are secondary
