See below: Dorsey is not undersized, he's a full 4.5 inches longer than Landry and is at least as long as guys like Troy Murphy, Drew Gooden, and Joakim Noah.

That's plenty long to please even the biggest size queens among us.

I remember Deke critizing him. That must not be good.

there seemed to be 3 people working out, Dorsey, some guy in black shirt round same height, and then a much taller guy in grey sleeveless.

maybe black t shirt guy is strawberry :S but from what Doresy said it gave off the impression that 'Daryl' was his competition, competing for the same spot of PF/C... most likely though I'm reading way too much into this

Give him a chance. At beast we'll have ourselves a decent backup center. At worse we can used his workout video clip and hype him up like he's the next DH. Maybe we can trade him for Lebron? ;) :p

I believed that's Darryl Watkins from the Spurs.

When did we acquire Dwight Howard? In all seriousness it's nice to hear he's working hard.

This guy? Sure don't look like he's a power player. Finesse, in fact, is his middle name.

Good to see him making progress. Hope he can get healthy and contribute to some extent this year. Learning the NBA game and the Rockets system will be the main challenges. Joey is very foul prone. His standing reach and length will help but taller guys will still give him trouble.Joey needs to maximize his strengths to become a productive player.

If I recall correctly, it was in a joking way that Dorsey had not really ever been on the floor so he was not Deke's teammate and just a lockermate or something like that. It wasn't a big deal.

Hopefully he can come back next season and make a difference. I think last year was humbling for him and he seems motivated to make a NBA name for himself.

This article is very encouraging. I doubt the organization would be using up webspace building him up if they were not pretty sure he is in their plans.

I would love to see him do some major damage next season.

    "It hurted so bad"

But yeah, he looks like he's improving and i'm definitely encouraged by his positive attitude. All jokes aside, he does look like Dwight Howard or Ben Wallace with the massive arms, broad shoulders and sheer bulk.

he's improved a lot, his free throw release looked really really nice, but his jumper, although improved, doesn't look solid...i think he needs to stop focusing so much on making it a jumpshot and make it more of a set shot, seems like his weight pulls his arm back and the follow through is shaky.

wow, he looked much better in that video as compared to the first one. the jump hook looked very fluid and he had surprisingly good form on that jumpshot.

i am rooting for dorsey to succeed primarily because up to this point, he has been the sole blemish on daryl morey's track record. it would be quite comforting knowing that your GM had never made a mistake.

I dont understand why they drafted another undersized PF anyways.

What are we starting a collection?
