The whole thought of trading anyone for Horry is ridiculous.

Sure MoT’s health will be a question, but to take a PF, not a true SF, that “half steps” during the regular season, does not have handles is insane. Don’t get me wrong, I like what Horry brings to the table, just not our table. We need someone to play every time he walks onto the floor, and I would not be willing to give Horry a third chance at proving that. Does anyone remember the reason why Rudy wanted to trade him to SA for Elliot? Because Horry wouldn’t show any heart during the regular season! His downside far out weighs is upside and that’s the last thing we need. If we could get him for a future second round draft pick plus and through in Cato for kicks, great, make the deal! Anything beyond that…lets just enjoy what he did for the Rocks when he was here and wish him the best in LA.

I would love to see the Rockets pursue someone with the offensive mindset and can put the ball on the floor and have good defensive fundamentals (lol, just laughing at myself, doesn’t everyone want that type of player). However, with the lack of D the Rocks show and the looking at the success history the 3 position has had in H-town, the Rockets may be better off going after someone with a defensive mindset, who can run the floor and good work ethic. We have enough people who can throw the rock up, with the possibility of getting another shooter in Ming.

I'd do the trade, mainly just because Horry only has 2 years left on his contract compared to the 5 left on Taylors.

Horry - though I like him and his clutch (heart of the champion) plays is damaged good and almost past his prime. He will be a good fit but to trade Mo T for him is not fair value.

Sorry, that statement should have read:
"If we could get him for a future second round draft pick plus throw in Cato for kicks, great, make the deal!" (caught a mis-spelling)

Not a dig on Cato, just a feeble attempt at humor. Besides, no way LA considers Cato...(another attempt)
