Aparenttly, back home, he's Yao Ming.

In all seriousness though he seems to have decent size and strength, decent range and great hands for a 6'11 260lbs guy. (Disclaimer: I've only seen the highlight video above.

Here's an article from RealGM via Cleveland Plain-Dealer saying some NBA teams are interested:

    Anyone seen him play regularly?

    Any thoughts?

He seems solid from stats, 6'10 or 7ft, weights 280 pounds. Averages 12.5 points and 7.4 rebounds per game. Could be a very solid backup center.

dang this guys the greek MANCHILD d12, from what i saw hes good and id throw the full mle on him just because it seems he can be more of an offensive threat than most free agent centers and hes defensively and physically sound. but then again these videos could prolly get me drafted in the nba and im 5ft 11 brown guy

From this mix video he looks like a taller Scola. He moves well without the ball and can get open in the post and out. Plus unlike Scola he dunks frequently. not only as a back up center with that ability he can compliment Yao as well as Scola. If he is anywhere like Scola + height advantage GO AFTER HIM!!

imho, we could do a lot worse than him with the limited resources we've got. but the only way to get him is to overpay him. i don't think morey likes to do this.

He lifts up his knees all the time when he dunks.

    Clearly he has raw power...

I'd take "The Polish Hammer" (6-11in.) Marcin Gortat of Orlando who leads the NBA in rebounds per 48 minutes at 17.1 per game and only made approx. $712,000.00 this past season and is an UFA this offseason. Sources are reporting the Knicks as having interest and the means by which to make the best deal happen.

I don't think we would get Gortat for $3m per season whereas I think we could get this guy for that amount. Plus he honestly seems to be better IMO the more highlight videos I watch.

He really has great range and strength. His body type works for the C position. He's got great hands.

I'm actually quite convinced that this guy could start for the Spurs or be a backup for us.

How much is $2 million Euros tax free. Is that more than or equal to the MLE.

1 Euro is 1.4 dollars, so that 2 million euros is 2.8 million dollars.

As far as taxes go, effective tax rate is somewhere around 33% maybe (total guess) so the equivilent of that offer is about 4.2 million US.

Disclaimer: I have seen nothing but the video posted but, this guys seems extremely well put together, very athletic. He is very fluent with his motions... Looks like a guy who may give you 12/8 per night... as a backup C and even better as a starter...

more like he can give you 12 and 8 as a starter on a lottery team.

that's about the same marc gasol averages in memphis in this situation.

Marc Gasol never came close to being the best center in Europe. This guy on the other hand is the best center in Europe. He's better than Splitter, who is himself better than Gasol.
