Ohh yes, I remember that. Screech's Spaghetti sauce. The Sauce, you can have, but the recipe, she's-a mine. I watch SBTB every morning before heading out.
I can't tell if you're being serious or not, but I loved that movie... Van Wilder was a copycat of his character in my eyes!
Gold star for staying completely in character and apparently not aging at all in the last twenty years. And, yes, welcome to late night, Mr. Fallon.
Saw the promos for "Zach Morris." I stayed up to watch, the first time I've seen Fallon's Late Night since the first week he was on air. Agree wholeheartedly about Fallon, but there must be at least one really inspired writer/producer on Late Night left over; to have celebrities come on in character is a genius stroke. If they make that a recurring bit, it potentially revolutionizes the genre. Oh, and in the debate over Gosselaar's success versus the rest, don't forget that he was the star, at the time (surprisingly) well-received, opposite Dennis Franz on the last few years of NYPD Blue. That alone should trump the others. Except For Elizabeth Berkeley in Showgirls. Nothing tops that. Nothing.
It was so horrible when Fallon called him Preppie. Besides that awesome stuff, watching old episodes I can't believe the crap Kelly wore and how hot she looked in them. Gym uniform in the hallways? Works for me! Valley stinks!
You're right. Fallon came close to killing the bit. Loved how they worked in all the references (The Attic!). MPG was freaking brilliant. They could get a lot of mileage out of that concept for another show if they wanted to, something like the Brady Bunch Movie.
how has gossler been "by far" the most successful? tiffany-amber thiessen's run on 90210 was better than anything gossler has accomplished since SBTB ended.
My respect for MPG went up 500%. I can't stand when celebs won't acknowledge what made them famous in the first place. MPG embraced it. Other celebs should take note (Marky Mark), otherwise you just come off like a jackass. Loved all the SBTB references. I'm also amazed how he hasn't aged.
I watched Saved By the Bell all the time growing up and didn't find that clip funny at all. I am surprised so many people found it so funny. I did think Gosselaar was surprisingly good on Law & Order.
i don't know that it was all that funny except that they referenced so many episodes of saved by the bell in such a short period of time. It was unexpected and allowed us to reminisce about a show we all enjoyed? i was laughing just at how he looked, how he could still be Zack so easily, and at things as ridiculous as the kelly volleyball poster like the one from his room..
Well finally someone posted a thread about this. Apparently I can't start my own topic LOL. Well I found the skit to be hilarious because it just reminded me of all the cheezy episodes they did. I'm the dork and kid at heart who will continue watching in the mornings on TBS =D I think MPG has probably the better resume seein that he did do a couple of seasons on NYPD. Tiffani did 90210 for a bit and then went on to do a show on fox that got canceled that same season. Lark did some soaps, Elizabeth Berkely and Dustin....well we all know what they did. Mario has gained A LOT of popularity these past few years. He's the next Ryan Seacrest LOL. That guy hasn't aged at all either!!
