Does Artest have any Chinese contract?

    Did he sign a shoe deal or anything that is based upon him playing here? If so that might lower his salary correct? Why are we not UNDERPAYING every free agent?

    I think I've read somewhere that Artest signed a Chinese contract, but I can't be certain. And going by Chuck Hayes' $5 million endorsement, Ron probably got alot more.

    because thats a perk
    your not gonna take less just to make it equal out, thats the whole point of getting super stars because you can get max deal plus some

    I don't think there's another superstar that can get his teammates shoe deals.

    good question. Since you can't buy these Chinese sneakers here in the US maybe they allow non-exclusive deals. I know he had a deal with Protege but its weird to see him wearing two brands of sneakers.
