He never said Tracy was coming back to his old form he said he will be back next season. You know as in playing with the Rockets.

I don't know what TMac would regret as he is delusional.

But I regret very much what he had done to Rox this season. Had he been decently fit, both mentally and physically, and played as a team player for Rox for the whole season, Rox would have had a very good chance of beating the Fakers in the playoff.

Also I won't regret a bit if he came back next year still mentally and physically weak. That would relieve Rox from worrying about his status no more and would give Rox at least 22M beginning from calender year 2010.

However, I still hope he would come back strong and play into the system next year.

He only would regret asking out if he had known John Weisbrod wouldn't be with the team by that season's end (2004-05).

As for Mr. Weisbrod, to this day, he still has to feel like a genius about making that trade even though he is no longer the Magic GM.

    Read my sig.

Good gosh this is going to be a long offseason. I hope this is not all this board will be discussing for the next few months. Just add more fuel to fire on both sides. Yes there was a point where Orlando fans did boo the begeeze out of Tmac. He claimed he never put in the full effort and wanted out of town. He got his wish and became a Houston Rocket. Whether they forgave him for it or not now is a different question. After Weisbord got fired I think some Orlando fans figured it probably did suck having the teams that he has had. I don't understand why some Rocket fans saw that then but can't see that now. I believe the best role players Tmac and Yao have had was that very first year of the era. If it wasn't for us depending on Ryan Bowen for our main powerforward during that playoff run I believe we would have beaten that Mavs team and went to finals to go against the Heat. Quite possibly won the ring. That Mavs team though as I remember was highly favored by David Stern and the refs. I believe that series was admitted to be rigged. I honestly believe that Stern made it difficult for JVG every year after the comments he made publicly that year. It is too bad.
But back to the topic... I don't think anyone could really say without being him. After years of the team refusing or were just completey inept to get any form of talent around the guy, I'm pretty sure he didn't think there was any use of him staying in Orlando. They got Dwight Howard but at that time I don't know if anyone really knew if Dwight Howard was going to be the player he is now. Tmac wanted a win now situation and at that time being with Yao was his best option at that. I think to this day it still is and I hope he realizes that now.
