OK, please,we don't wanna hear anymore about favoritism after that call on Howard. Please!!!! Disgusting.
****ing-a kobe, are you just going to shoot every ****ing free throw ****ing short all night? way to step it up with a 5-10 from the line performance. no need to win this game. getting outclutched by rafer alston in the 4th.
When Doug Collins said the outside official made that call, I nearly died laughing because I knew Crawford was going to be the one to make that bail out call.
Lakers are clutch in the 4th, but LAL with Joey Crawford in the 4th is unstoppable. Crawford made that call on DH from next to the announcers table, with 8 other players blocking the action, and the other refs do nothing to overrule him.
Kobe not clutch this game. Unfortunately for the Magic, he will make up for it in at least 2 of the remaining games.
and kobe chokes again. how many times does he lose the dribble trying to cross over splitting the D on the PnR? it's at least 50/50 but... CALL A ****ING TIMEOUT GASOL!!! this has quickly grown into my biggest pet peeve in all of basketball this playoffs. there have been an absurd number of players on all teams who go to the floor for the ball and absolutely refuse to call timeout. as if their lives depend on saving that timeout. i'm guessing the lakers have a bunch. gasol can never be called a heady player ever again after that decision-making. that's a layup of a decision, call the timeout you moron. but oh no, if you can't, just make sure you throw it straight to the other team. no need to aim for a teammate or avoid the other team. maybe he'll just get the ball and kick it into the stands this play and figure that's the right play.
The Magic had to shoot over 60% to barely win this game. You gotta give them credit though. They've played as good as the Lakers for the last 2 games.
I would have loved to have listened to JVG commentating on Game 1 of our 95 Finals against the Magic. He would be having a heart attack over Anderson.
Props to Kobe Bryant for his tenacity, only one still keeping hope alive for his team whilst the rest of the Lakers look on
