This is promising: "I'm not satisfied. I still have a lot I can show to everybody and I can get a lot better at. I'm happy with the progress I made, but I'm going to try to work the hardest I've ever worked this summer." - Wafer
I would actually be very happy with that. if everyone is healthy and younger players are gaining experience now with a good backup to Yao, this team would be awesome.
If we're resigning Artest and Wafer and we don't find a worthwhile trade involving McGrady, that seems to be the most likely outcome.
Can the addition of healthy Tmac and backup center to the current roster (including Artest and Wafer) be enough to put us in contention for championship ring? That's the ultimate question this offseason.
Passing, court vision, defense. His outside shooting is fair, but he needs to get better there as well.
im curious to see how a contract year t-mac will play. he's going to play better, but i think his peak is his 07 form, which was still an inefficient chucker. we need to get rid of t-mac after next year or we'll be doomed.
If he's smart. But am I the only one here that, the very few times he didn't automatically shoot, he made better passes to Yao off his drives than anyone else since two years and a half years ago? If we can get Wafer signed for a reasonable price, I will be surprised and very happy. Yao, please get the guy a shoe contract!
