Kinda coincidental....just saw a few episodes of SBTB the other day, and watched Raising the Bar last night....not too bad. I lived on SBTB back in the day....
Not only was I surprised that Mark Paul Gossler would do it, since he's by far the most successful one of the bunch, but the dude came out in full character and didn't break once during the entire skit...I was rolling. I loved that show. Fallon has sort of won me over with this saved by the bell thing.
That was awesome! Gossler didn't even smirk once and was totally in Zack Morris mode. SBTB is an all time classic.
By far? Thats not saying much. Mario Lopez has been pretty popular as of late. Tiffany Amber Thiesen had her time also. Mark hasn't really been all that successful, although him and Mario Lopez are probably the only ones that aren't struggling to find work these days. Great skit! Leah Remini had a good run on King of Queens too!
i still put the tv on SBTB while i'm hitting snooze and getting ready in the morning. i don't know who would be the most successful from the show. kelly had 90210 for a while, zack hasn't done much but "raising the bar" seems to be doing decently. slater has had the odd hosting role here and there, and jessie is on csi: miami (or at least has been on). of anyone ever on the show, i guess either leah remini or denise richards have made it the biggest, and then maybe christine taylor (zack's study date in the SAT episode, the best SBTB episode).
Lark Voorhies was on one of the soaps for a good run as well. That's pretty much it I think...Dustin Diamond is basically a D-list celeb on those reality shows and Mr. Belding just parties a lot.
jimmy fallon is so god awful. he was in full zach mode and all that idiot fallon can do is laugh and smirk throughout the whole thing. kinda like, o i don't know, EVERYONE SINGLE ONE of his SNL skits. seriously, how did this guy get away with a run on snl and big screen time? it's like he's never taken an acting class in his life.
It was a Good Morning, Miss Bliss episode, Zach met her during the summer and he told her he was in the 9th grade when he was still in Jr high.
Tori Spelling, Bridget Wilson and Casper Van Dien and also appeared on the show. They're all about the same level of career... Fallon sucks. He fits the demographic for Saved By The Bell more than other hosts, thats the only thing he gets credit for here.
