    OMFG. (*oh, my freakin' GOSH.) :mad:

    I called my doctor to set up an appointment for myself... and the person says: "please hold" and proceeds to leave me on the hold music... to none other than "Black Velvet." I freakin' hate that song with lyrics only KAM could like... :rolleyes:

    Black velvet in that little boy's smile.
    Black velvet with that slow southern style.
    A new religion that'll bring ya to your knees.
    Black velvet if you please.

    i personally am offended at how so many indians take these calls, and refer to themselves as having american names....

    says the guy who calls himself the slumdog millionaire.

    (btw, this has bothered me from the first day I saw that on your sig- unless you came from ridiculously poor settings to where you are now, then you shouldn't refer to yourself as such. Being a slumdog isn't something people should label themselves fashionably with. Being raised in abject poverty with horrific conditions is something that no one should want to jokingly pose. Its kinda like making a holocaust joke. This should be common sense, especially after watching the movie. And if you actually are a 'slumdog millionaire' then i apologize profusely and have much admiration. but the odds of you really being a slumdog millionaire are pretty slim so... yeah, finally got that off my chest.)

    as in the movie, people take these jobs out of necessity. and, you know how difficult it would be for a guy to explain that his name is Namacharya Prakash Saptanshu? Its easier for them to just say an anglicized name like Kevin. And to clarify, I hate when I get those calls too, but there is a reason for what they are doing. And if it isnt some indian guy today, then it'll be some chinese guy the next. It will go on and on.

    That's funny because I remember back in the 80's when I was surfing at Zihuatanejo, there were a bunch of these little mexican kids out in the line up singing Black Velvet. So of course I've always assumed that all mexicans love that song. Weird.
