Lebron took a crappy team to the NBA Finals.
And he NEVER MADE excuses to the public for his performance or threw any of his teammates under the bus indirectly.

I'll give T-mac this, he's a smart guy. He picks his words carefully.
He purposely chooses when to mention he's out for the season (trade deadline)

    T-mac is not stupid.

Maybe it just means that T-mac + team = not good. I admire your non stop defense of of T-mac, you are like Shane Battier, Mutumbo and Ron Artest playing man-to-man defense against everybody on this board.

And you picking on me for your t-mac fix is ok, but DD??

that dude has 50K posts, you will get owned like GM by the government.

with all fairness, and Im not a T Mac apologist, but Lebron took his team to the finals by getting past two injury depleted teams without their stars in the Wizards and the Nets.

He only had to beat the Pistons that year, and the Pistons were up and down themselves. If the Cavs had to play the Jazz in the first round (the year of their NBA finals run) they would have surely lost to them as well.

before this year, no Houston Rockets fan really had a reason to complain about McGrady. If anything they should have been complaining FOR him.

tmac is a smart guy? public relations-wise, he's one of the dumbest in professional sports.

^^^ A wee bit of an over-exaggeration. Ron Artest has definitely got TMAC beat on that one.

No Lebron just doesn't shake hands with the winning team after losing the Eastern Conference Finals.

Just because a guy has 50K post doesn't mean anything. Guys with 100 post could know more than him. It doesn't mean anything. It just means the guys likes to post and is always on here

He shook DHowards before the game was over.

You know Tracy McGlassy was in the LEASTERN Conference too. He never took his teams past the first round...

Now I wait for the excuses and the players and coaches getting thrown under the bus to Disneyland

Oh yeah Doc Rivers was his coach..

It means something to me. He's dedicated to the Rockets and has lots of opinions about it.

The guy even makes youtube videos cause he wants to talk about the Rockets.

    That passion cannot be ignored.

I hate to burst your bubble but LeBron didn't shake Dwight Howard's hand. LeBron just walked off the court. He sent Howard an email.

it was mentioned on ESPN radio that during the game, Lebron gave him a subtle 'low five'.

I would still take Lebron over Tmac. Maybe Lebron should ask Tmac to help him congratulate the other team cause Tmac has better experience at that.

Its sad how everyone always compares players when they have been in the league years before the other one . LeBron is in the class with Melo and Wade. It would be fair to ask who would you rather have. It's obvious that guys are going to take LeBron over McGrady because McGrady is damn near about to retire as LeBron has years of basketball to play.

I think it's safe to say we all would take Lebron over t-mac.

No one is saying T-mac is god's gift to basketball and the Houston Rockets. We're just saying the devil you know is better than the devil you don't.

The opportunity for T-mac is still here, I know you don't like him, and I know there's a TON of others here who don't like him. "McLazy" "McGlassy" "selfish" "throws team under the bus" and much much more. Ok, it's obvious. You guys hate t-mac.

I don't hate the guy. I don't love him, I don't hate him. But I do think he still can help us. That's all.

Now, if Dada's 50K posts make him more qualified of an expert to you, that's great. He's the number one poster in terms of volume on this site. Many of those 50K posts are dedicated to attacking t-mac, and singing the praises of VSPAN, or attacking JVG. Whatever. It's your choice to put stock into dada's opinions. He's certainly not dumb.

But I still think your "I hate t-mac because he can't dunk on an injured knee" or because, "He whines a lot" or because "he doesn't run around enough on the court" is more out of emotion then logical deduction.

People have pointed out how Dada moved the goal posts after each time I gave examples of players coming back from this surgery. Ok, so he's not convinced.

Don't be convinced. I am not trying to convince you guys that t-mac is going to contribute. I am trying to convince you guys to let time be the judge, because it doesn't risk us much.

Even with your +21,000 posts and contributing member status, it is hard to take you seriously when you refer to TMAC as "Tracy McGlassy".

Any time of Tmac's career, I would still take LeBron.

That year Tmac won the scoring title, he still didn't LEAD his team to anything.

In the history of scoring champions, Tmac is the worst and most overrated player.

    Shaq, Iverson, Jordan, Kobe.. etc

all of those guys took their teams somewhere.

I'll even take a 76 sixers Iverson scoring champ over Tmac.

McGrady isnt the most over rated scoring champ.

Iverson was a scoring champ shooting about 30 shots and having a 39% field goal percentage!

That is horrible for a scorer Tinman.

But, if you are talking about success with a team, you are right, Iverson has at least gotten past the first round.

the NBA Finals. Think about that Sixers team, it wasn't that good, they had Deke (who was great on D, bad on O), Aaron McKie, who else?

he willed his team to the finals.

I believe they had a very good defense. This was very good for Iverson because he could shoot however much he wanted. I believe there starters consisted of AI, Aaron McKie, Jumaine Jones, Tyrone Hill, and Deke.

I just checked one of the box scores and Iverson shot 41 times. Damn!

1st of all, DD hasnt "moved the goalposts" at all. just look at his original post people. some moron shouted out john stockton as answer and he had to be shown that stockton wasnt a wing player. you answered with kerry kittles and harpring.

Ok, remember when I pointed out that your kerry kittles wasnt correct because he took off 16 months after his surgery, plus his microfracture surgery failed, then he had to have the OATS procedure which actually helped him return. you replied and admitted
now you are trying to take credit for your answers that didnt make sense and u even admitted it. you are flip flopping again, proving again that you are very much the Stephen A. Smith of clutchfans.

so the only answer you are left with is matt harping. you also continue to ignore the fact that the season after harping came back from his microfx surgery, he had to have another one because he couldnt play back to back games on his "healed knee". so if you are trying to take pride in you harpring answer which is all you have left, that's a pretty ****ty example of how tmac can come back from his surgery. remember he only has 1 year left on his contract and we dont have time for him to have another microfx surgery.

i appreciate ur opinions and posts and unending defense of mcgrady, but dont flip flop and lie about DD changing his parameters when obvious proof that you are the one lying is a couple clicks away.
