I love how you keep referring to me as a rookie when you joined a month earlier than me. You're not a vet poster on here that can make such claims and ironically after your nonsensical posts.

    Now you see our problem?

    Yao Gets fronted.

    Shot Clock runs down.

Artest jacks up fadeaway 3 pter.

That has been the Rocket's problem all season long.

How often have you hear the announcers say "The Rockets lack a closer."

Let me show you the stats of that game

    Yao: 20 Points, 14 Rebounds, 50% FG
    Shaq: 22 Points, 10 Rebounds, 47% FG

Tell me how Yao was abused by Shaq. You head got infected my swine flu?

Since you post a lot stupid posts licking DH's ass. Let me show you what is abuse.

    Game 1 Rockets vs ORL
    Yao: 20 Points, 14 Rebounds, 60% FG
    DH: 13 Points, 9 Rebounds, 50% FG

    Game 2 Rockets vs ORL
    Yao: 20 Points, 16 Rebounds, 62% FG
    DH: 13 Points, 10 Rebounds, 50% FG

If you remember correctly without looking at only the stats blindly we made a HUGE comeback by hitting a string of 3s and late in the 4th Yao kept getting murdered on the P&R everytime.
Shaq on the other hand played superb defense.

There is more to the game than stats buddy.

    Yao: 20 Points, 14 Rebounds, 50% FG
    Shaq: 22 Points, 10 Rebounds, 47% FG

Yao only scored 2 less points than shaq but on a hairline better FG%.

You may think he played well but you do remember the best player that game don't you? Grant Hill. Grant Hill was the recipient of the P&R plays. My point was to state that Shaq played much better due to his defense and Yao played much worse due to his horrible defense.

But when the stats are as lopsided as 17ppg to 5ppg with Brooks vs Lowry ( and every other statistical cat) then there isn't really much more to add. I said there is more to it than stats which meant i wasn't eliminating it. Context next time bud.

So let me get this straight. Your stats work because you want them to nad because you say, while nobody else's stats work because you don't want them to and because you say? Talk about unbias and rational.

    WOW.

You look at stats to a certain degree depending on the situation and the players you are comparing.

Let me break it down for you.

Yao / Shaq ---PPG= Even so you have to go deeper and disregard the stats for a monent.

Brooks/Lowry ----Glaring diff...17 vs 5.....lowry's tenacity on the defensive end of the court couldn't possibly match the his lack of scoring.

Maybe if PGs were asked to score, we would be on the same page. But we obviously are not and probably never will.

In another words, you are pretty much saying My stats are better than yours and have more logic, I don't need any proof I just said so.

That is entirely dependent on the system.

Check the PG stats for Adelman's PGs over the years he coached them. You will notice that they were all scoring PGs. Besides, would you really want Lowry starting...when it was clear what Rafer's problem was? Teams WONT guard him and will double up on Yao.

Anyone who argues that Yao is still better than Dwight Howard after they have seen Howard play in these playoffs is a complete homer.

I watched that game, and knew that Yao did not play quite well. The whole team did not either. But this is not the point I am arguing with you.
The point is how you define ABUSE. The stats at least show that Yao's play was far away from being abused.
Please tell me how a 20P/14R/50%FG play abused by a 22P/10R/47%FG.
You just expect too much from Yao.

I saw him get contained and owned by Kendrick Perkins. You might be a homer for Dwight's side. All said and done, Anybody who argues Tracy McGrady being a decent player in this league is a T-Mac only fan. See I can make things happen just like you can. :p

    1) Let me just ask you this right now, so we get this straight, what Dwight Howard has done in these playoffs OVERALL... does this not put him over Yao? Am I missing something here? I can't be a homer if I'm providing what's there.... and how he has played in these playoffs.

    2) Why do you constantly bring up Tracy McGrady? I just don't get it.... out of the bloom... when did I say Tracy McGrady is a decent player in this league? Find that quote for me please... Once again, I don't know what this has to do with being a Tracy McGrady fan... or any kind of single fan...

    3) I don't know your problem is, you do have a serious problem, like a Yao fetish or something, any when someone defies your opinion, you like to make up bull ****. I can ask anyone who has debated with you, they'll say the same exact thing.

What Dwight Howard has done is a great accomplishment, but If he wins the title then I'll say he's above Yao. This debate is no different than Prime T-Mac vs Prime Iverson. The only difference was that they both had scrub teammates, while Yao has inferior teammates to Dwight's. Sorry, but a washed up Tracy is not better than either Hedo or Shard or even Ron Artest.

Dominating Big Z and Anderson Varejao is not saying that much to be honest with you. It's funny how fast the flavor of the week is all of a sudden the next Shaq again. I hope and expect Kobe and the Lakers to suck the Magic's heart out.

Again... his NUMBERS in the playoffs prove that he's better than Yao. Who has Yao played against that he's so much better? Hell he has gotten SHUT DOWN more than he has actually played well... Great players are made in the playoffs... I've always been behind Dwight in saying he's been better than Yao since basically the season started... so I don't know about other bandwagon fans, but I'm certainly not one. Man, we're so inferior of a team that we beat them TWICE in the reg season... yeah Dwight got dominated... but the league isn't just about playing against one team. Hell, we dominated the hell out of the Cavs in the two games we played, granted they won one (because of the refs IMO, took Yao out for most of the game), but we stopped LeBron... made him look like a scrub... playing against one team means nothing to a great player.

Stats. Stats. Stats. That's also the same reason why Tracy McGrady isn't a joke, so I understand your logic. But even so Yao is still better, and you have remained to fail ever since I've been on this forum.

Hmm... how exactly have I failed? I know you're bitter because I called you a YOF, fine, it's behind me, I apologize, my mistake. But to say that I've failed, that's just completely ridiculous.
