1984 - The Houston Rockets made Olajuwon with their 1st round pick. They were hoping for the best, and eventualy he helped them win two championships. From my point of view, with making Olajuwon their 1st pick overall, Houston helped my Bulls with starting their dynasty 7 years later.

2002 - The Houston Rockets are all set to make Yao their 1st pick overall. They are hoping for the best. I'm glad they do. By taking him, they will allow Jay Williams to join our club, and start another dynasty in Chicago.

So, the future of the Chicago Bulls is once again in the hands of the Houston Rockets. By making your team better, you will allow us to bacame even greater team. I think only Houston and New York are desperate enough to make that stick 1st pick overall, and every other team (27 of them) would go for Jay if they had that chance.

    What do YOU think.

...you cant live in the past dude. I think Chicago still has tons of work to do to even become a playoff contender and I am almost certain Jerry Krause will find a way to screw the franchise up somehow.

But anyway, lets just be happy that we both get what we want. Since the Rockets should have received the #5, and the Bulls #1 then this argument is kind of pointless. We both win!

Don't you get the irony of Krause dumping your moniker's namesake?

You are the one who started classifying people based on their height and weight.

I like Jay Williams, awesome player. Killer instinct and tough D.

But you better pray that he also has insane hops, b/c he will need a record breaking vertical to compensate for that sad sad sad wingspan.

Don't you know? It's all about the wingspan these days.

    Roy, Roy, Roy-

What are we to do with you? If you are trying to imply that Jay Williams is going to be anywhere close to the player that Michael Jodan was, then I feel very bad for you. Dont get me wrong he is good, but your franchise is hardly that. If not for His Airness your Chicago Bulls would be equivelant to that of the Los Angeles Clippers. I applaud you for the Championship runs in the 90's, but please spare this future dynasty talk. If there is one thing we all know it is that Jerry Krause is no genius. If not for the fact the Houston Rockets had a need for help in the low post in 1984, then Jerry Krause would presently be packing groceries at your local supermarket. Now, everyone and there mother knows that if the Bulls had the first pick in this draft it would be Yao Ming, but they dont and now they have to pick from the rest of the field. Jay Williams is the obvious pick in this case (and a good on with that). Take him! As good as he is I promise you the Chicago Bulls will not see another championship in your lifetime. It's been 4 years now since Michael Jordan left you guy's and your are still the doormat of the NBA. The "Easy Win" team! If your organizations idea of rebuilding is sucking for 10 years and getting 10 straight lottery picks and trading each pick (Brand) for another even younger Lottery pick (Chandler) then let me tell you now... You will never see the Finals again. At least as long as Jerry Krause is in office! and as long as he is in office untill he drafts Michael Jordan Jr. it aint gonna happen. Sorry!

Wow! Bold statement. Unless this guy's 70, that's making a big assumption. Remember how bad the Kings were 5 years ago? With the right moves, anything can happen.

But as long as Krause is running the show, well...;)

Hydra, that's exactly what I was thinking. Hello there once again, Sir Roy D. Elton, world renowned sheep do-er. How was your trip to the sheep filled fields of Eastern Europe? :D
