We might not be massively over the cap, but we won't be significantly under it either (if at all). You can't move Yao in order to clear enough room to pay Lebron because that takes away any incentive to sign with us. So either Lebron goes bat**** crazy and decides to sign for the MLE or he goes to a team that can actually pay him. I'll bet on the latter.

Good call, think of him as an insurance policy on the perimeter if James "Flight" White doesn't pan out. Not sure how White will react to the competition though, I bet in camp the battle between him and James for a spot in the rotation will be fierce.

Obviously you go into the season letting LeBron know "Flight" is the man unless something drastic happens. That way it puts pressure on LeBron to live up to his contract. I agree on the in camp battles. Honestly, we should also send LeBron back to summer league to make sure he fits the type of style we are looking to play. I'm starting to dislike this idea more and more actually. I'd rather give Von Wafer that money. He already knows the system.

Get real man,I don't think we have the possibility to get him here in Htown.Meanwhile he claimed that he's not leaving Cavs yet. There's still lots of stuff uncertain come the next season, what if he brings Cleveland the first Championship to end the 4 more decades champs drought?Anything could happen when it comes to the things in the future.

Lebron will never sign for less money...he is all bout the cash and going to a place where he can market himself even better...that being said...what better place to market yourself than playing next to YAO and the entire nation of China? It could happen...is all I am saying....

i think its more possible than alot of people here think....im being realistic that maybe he doesnt want to be in Houston but hey Houston has the right pieces, the salary cap to sign him, and the best center in the league to offer....and millions of chinese fans....his jersey and shoe sales would go thru the roof!

Exactly we would need to keep yao for him to come otherwise he might as well stay where he is.

They're probably having this same convesation in Sacramento, Charlotte, Memphis, Minnesota, Oklahoma City... if only LeBron would sign with us, we'd be really good!

Why the hell would we ever resign Tracy, if we have James? Having him play along side James is dumb enough. Money would be better spent else where.

I don't know...I would have to weight my options among Lebron, Kobe, and DWade. I think I might decide to take them all...as long as we don't give up anything valueable.

Instead of predicting a flaming, just go ahead and flame away.

Of course, the idea probably isn't good enough to deserve a flaming. There's not enough money to bring him, and no particular reason he'd want to come to Houston over a dozen other NBA cities.

    NEWS ALERT:

LeBron is not coming to Houston, unless it is for visit. Not to play for the Rockets.

Why would he turned down a bigger contract in a bigger market to play with the Rockets?
