i think we can get him over new york, they might be able to give him a lil more money, but i think the rockets will be a much better choice for the long term seeing as Lebron is going to want to be on a contending team.

the rockets could be major contenders with his talent.. and he can run the break amazingly aswell as in transition with his and aaron brooks speed going down the floor it can be something special

i would seriously consider even moving yao if we have to, because we took the lakers to 7 games while yao was out...

    aaron brooks
    lebron james
    ron artest
    luis scola
    WHOEVER

LeBron would be a great p/u for anyone but moving Yao for him isn't the way to do it.

Could you imagine having the best player in the game, imo, complimented by the best big man, WITH A SHOT!

That would be a team to beat no matter what role players we had.

    Dreams for now, dreams...

Yeah, I doubt he would come to Houston. I doubt he would come to Houston without a healthy Yao. Maybe if Yao can stay healthy this next season and we make it deep in the playoffs, he would consider coming here, since with him we would be a for sure title contender.

He will probably start to realize that he cant be the lone star on a team and win it all. Put him along side Yao, and our other great role players, and that is a team to remember.

the fact that you for some reason felt the need to justify your reasoning is freaking awesome.

I agreed, let's take Lebron away from Cleveland or N.Y. and pair Yao and Lebron here in Houston. Lebron might have acted like a spoiled sport after the loss to Orlando, but at least he show some passion unlike "Mr. who know who".

With what money? Correct if I'm wrong, we'd still be massively over the cap. You think he'd come to Houston, for the MLE? Mike Bibby to?

    Bibby
    Tmac
    Artest
    Lebron
    Yao

    Shane off the bench?

This is also what I am thinking about.
For LBJ, money is not a big problem. He needs a best chance to get a champion, and Rockets can give him that.
Rockets has all what a champion team has
    1) Defense
    2) Discipline
    3) Chemistry
    4) Good center
    5) Deep bench.
The only thing Rockets miss is a super wing player. If he could join Rockets, I cannot see any possibility that Rockets cannot get a champion.

i bet we could trade tracy's expiring to the Cav's for Lebron James so that they could be players in the 2010 free agency.

    Why?

Houston gets a star to replace Tracy.

Cav's get salary cap relief in 2010 to go after Lebron James.

    it's a win-win-win

Signing a free agent LeBron next summer would be fantastic!!! We could do it, because we'd just let TMac walk. Our Lineup would be:

    Brooks
    LeBron
    Artest/Battier
    Scola
    Yao

I don't know about this move guys, it may be too disruptive to team chemistry....best think about this one before we commit the full MLE to LeBron.

how about this. Trade T-mac for Lebron and Yao for Dwight this off season. We'll resign artest also. We'll be set to win about 5 trophies starting next year.

Man I swear, day dreaming should be a disease!

A choice between Lebron and Yao, I would Lebron in a heart beat. I love Yao but Lebron is arguable the best player in the league.

Why would Cleveland take a headband for LeBron James? Do you think his trade value is that low? Also, what makes you think we can secure such a magic headband that would put us in that position for Tracy McGrady? Just curious.....

I was think more along the lines of 3 years 9 million with a team option. That way we aren't taking that much of a risk.
