Do you own an iPhone? If not stop talking crap. I own one and it's nothing but stupid hype which Apple are pretty good at. The Palm Pre is the real deal not overhype POS like the iPhone.
I'd say go with the Palm Pre. It just LOOKS cool. Nevermind what it actually does - several google image searches of mine have revealed very cool looking pictures. The enV touch looks pretty clean too, but I'm not a huge fan of the keyboard phones.
I'm still not sure of this exclusivity window, but if you can wait for the Pre I would do that, OP. lol more fail Can you check your email on it? You don't want to miss the important ones.
Yes.... I do own one. I think you could probably tell from some of the iPhone stuff I've put in the hangout over the last few weeks... It's not stupid hype to me, or to a lot of people who bought it.... Infact, in a survey that was produced after the first people that bought the 3G.. there was some number that was like in the upper 80 percentile that said they were extremely satisfied with the iPhone... so I guess you're one of the minority that thinks it's just all hype. Palm Pre sucks.... this thing won't match Android or the iPhone in terms of how big the market is going to be for smart phones.
The iPhone is nothing without jailbroken. Shouldn't even consider being a smart phone. I have to spend hours and hours doing research and finding the right apps to get it on par with phones out there that already have that the stupid iPhone restricting it users. Don't even get me started on with the stupid iTunes. The thing that got going for it because of the hype touch screen and a decent OS. What kind of a r****ded phone that have a bluetooth but restrict people from using it with other phones or products?
As an owner of a Storm, I'll probably just bite the bullet and get the Pre when it's available on Verizon. The Storm's not AWFUL, but it's not great either...
I had Spring a few years ago and boy did it suck ass. Dropped calls, roaming all over the damn place, etc etc. I hated Sprint. I'm glad you are having a good experience with them but I would never switch from Verizon. Best service ever. I drive to the middle of nowhere a few times a year and I'm usually the only one that has any signal out there.
Ok. After looking at their phones briefly online, I still see why anyone is still with Sprint. What is it about them? Is their service good? Because they're phones are terrible from what I've just browsed.
I've got an original Verizon Env as well and I'm ready for an upgrade... I really like the phones with the keyboard. Any good recommendations?
