I don't remember EVER being this bored while watching the NBA Finals!!!! It got to the point that I fell asleep for the second quarter of game 2... After watching the Nets run through the East, I thought they'd at least take 1-2 games, but at this rate... fuggedaboutit!

i bet CB34 and The Jet feel pretty antsy right now, after both having picked the Nets to win in 7!!!

ok, back to the dull game.
    :(

I'm in a "I dont give a ****" state of mind going on 7 days now.

    Whatever happens, happens.

I just don't want to see "DIP**** Madsen"<B>AKA</b><I>Mark Madsen</i> dance on stand in front of thousands, for doing nothing but being a "rub up against partner of Shaq's" during practice session'.

He gives a bad rep to other white guys like myself.

Yawn. I actually want the Lakers to win Game 4, just so this @#$% can be over and done with.

i'm pretty sure i watched every single game of the last 2 finals, probably all in the SA/NY finals, all of them in the bulls 3 peat, and obviously all of them in the glory days of the nba when the rockets went back to back. i have now missed game 1 of this finals, 1/2 of game 2, and 3/4 of game 3. and i actually want the lakers to crush the nets (i hate the lakers so much) just to further rub it in how bad the east is and how undeserving it is of anything. unfortunately, game 3 ended up close, but i hope i can count on the lakers to finish it off with a big, convincing win. i guess i would be watching more if sactown was in the finals b/c it would probably be more even just based on matchups (even though the kings are better than the lakers) but i still wouldn't be that interested. just something about hearing new jersey nets that doesn't inspire me to watch.

    don't worry y'all,

just give the NBA a couple more years of this....then Stern will have to enforce my dream of having the best 16 teams instead of 8 from both the west and east. ;)

Overrated, that's what I'm thinking -- best 16. The Nets would've been only the 7th (?) seed although coming out an Eastern Champ. :D

Anyway, if the Kings - Lakers series were the finals, it would've been a lot more excitement. And the officiating issue would've been more significant. ;)

Portland would have won the EC and given the Lakers a better series

I wish the Rockets would be realigned to the east so I could buy a "I watched my Eastern Conference team get demolished by the West in the Finals" T-shirt. Even with all their flaws the Rockets can definitely own the east...

The Nets could be the worst team to ever play in an NBA Finals. They're definitely the worst in at least the last 23 years or so.

After an exciting NBA championship level series between the Kings and Lakers that had me glued to the TV on the edge of my seat, I have now watched a total of only 7 mins of the so-called "NBA Finals". The East has such a low standard in basketball that a semi-legitimate team gets to claim the title of "conference champions". The Finals shouldn't even be on Broadcast, let alone prime time. Sac, Lal, San, Dal, Min, Por, Sea, and I think even Utah would all have probably won the east. It's a bold statement, but the facts would back it up.
