I'll preface this by saying that I am a fan of VY and I wish him well. I am NOT a VY apologist. I can't stand the Titans, Bud Adams or Albert Haynsworth. having said that....Vince Young should not have to apologize to anyone for being drafted by a dumbass into a dumbass situation. The only dumbass in that organization that wanted him. too much was asked of Vince. and as a testament to his ability.....he delivered pretty dam solidly given the pisspoor circumstances he was surrounded with. There are many factors that did and are contributing to his decline. A lot of that responsibilty SHOULD and MUST be placed on VY, but not all of it. Bud Adams is just as guilty. So is Norm Chow and Fisher. Kerry Collins.....please. Even a trash can finds a steak every once in awhile. I wouldn't mind VY on the Texans, as long as he delivers.
That is true. Very true. Bud Adams is the ONLY person who wanted him in that entire organization. The other's with football minds, were smart. Bud wanted to stick it to the Texans and to the city of Houston. It would have been really interesting to see how far VY would have fallen if it weren't for Bud scooping him up at 3. And looking back at that VY, Reggie, or someone else draft thread, all I can say is LOL.
Nope, Tim Tebow is the next guy who is going to "Revolutionize" the QB position in the NFL, and I don't buy it at all. Tebow is going to be an Hback.

you mean the same team that was in the position to pick him #2? look, i'm not defending his play, but that team was terrible when he got there. to their credit, they improved despite his lack of progress. there is a reason he got to start in his first year in the first place.

He still doesn't get it. He's been pampered during his athletic career and is yet to make the adjustments needed to be successful. Not to mention the fact that he rolls around with a really bad crowd. I just don't see this ending well for VY. These things tend to catch up to you. I wish the guy nothing but the best, but he only has himself to blame for his situation now. I know a lot of people may say this is crazy, but a position change may be the only way for him to salvage an NFL career.
