I think people been reading my post wrong. Of course I know they are Jewish writers, directors and actors. That's not my point. My point was alot of movies out there take certain subject matter from culture, religion and whatever events that happen throughout our history and implemented into their movies in respond to my "Come on. People are that blind? This type of thing are everywhere in alot of movies."

Maybe an idiot like you should try doing a bit more researching Star Trek's history before rambling BS.

Typical Troll tactic when they know they can't have a reasonable answer to backup their argument.

I'm pretty sure if a person is breaking out this phrase in just about any debate, they've already lost.

I was going to type out a long response, but this response made me laugh and kept me from nerdraging.

    Thank you, Rokkit.

Wow, so explain to me why the Romulans of the past Star Trek been change up a bit to this new Star Trek? And explain to me why in this Star Trek Kirk father die and in the old one his father live to see him?

It's pretty obvious what they are trying to approach with this new Star Trek. I'm just trying to point out how the Romulans and Vulcans been change a bit in the new Star Trek.

Hey, it's Star Trek and anything is possible if there are a alternate, parallel timeline or Universe whichever you want to call it.

I'd rather admit I'm wrong, and that you are right.

The Romulans are indeed nazi/arabs and the Vulcans are jews.

And since you quoted someone else who saw a planet being blown up as being the same as the holocaust inacted by the arab/nazis. I can't argue. Some random dude had the same thought. Ironclad case, sir. Bonus point for the pointing out of Nimoy's 1960's adaptation of a blessing he saw at an Orthodox synagogue as a child. (I took your advice and did some research! I honestly had no idea where it came from. KUDOS to being aware of that commonly known fact!)

And here is your proof that the vulcans were indeed jews. I can't argue with the Greek version of the Roman name of a Romulan/emperor having the numerical value of 666. If it wasn't ironclad before, that most definitly nails it. Bravo!
Confused me here. Are you racists or are you accusing Abrams of being racist? If vulcans= jews, you're saying jews are highly scientific and logical, but you're saying that arabs are not highly scientific and are illogical. Right? Sorry, I'm a dumb troll. This is hard for me to follow your thoughts!
Wait, so they aren't nazi/arabs. They are just arabs? Now I'm confused. My mind can't grasp that. Wait, that guy on the PURE CHRISTIANITY website actually has an interesting post. I only wish you could have at one point just copy/pasted his idea. That way my simple mind would have been able to grasp it earlier.

Wait, so we're back to the Romulans being both white supremacists and arabs. Damnit, it is hard to keep up, Beebop. But, I'm certain your very vague link about the 4 groups must be right. All the reasons you've stated prove this connection unequivocally. And to be honest, every time I see a bald headed guy with a tattoo, I run the other way, because they are obviously white supremacists, who we all know have a bit of a connection to Nazism.

Then again maybe I'll just flat out say that I think you heard someone with an idea, and you quickly ran to the net to boast about your brilliant idea. When called on it, you tried to do as much googling to back it up as possible and fell flat on your face. The sad fact is, you may very well be correct. They might be nazi/arabs. You really should have just posted that Christian guy's article, instead of taking bits of it on your amazing copy/paste post. At least he had a coherent idea that he backed with something that resembled logic.

and lastly: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=T69TOuqaqXI Seriously. You don't need to let everything in.

Well, I'm glad you came out and have a more debatable approach. I'm not saying I'm taking full credit for this finding. It's just that this new Star Trek brought to my attention when I saw a few connection about the movie. So yes I google after seeing the movie and I saw that I wasn't alone thinking that I'm looking too much into it. A little more research pretty much proven that the new Star Trek decision to include that subject matter into their movie was to me a message that it's trying to get out about the conflict. It might not be the main story but pretty obvious it's there.

That quote was from someone else and not me. The reason I came to conclusion that the Romulans are a mixture of Arabs/Nazi because of the way they look. I mean google Romulans and you'll see they look exactly like Vulcans in the old Star Trek. I could be wrong and digging too deep into the neo-nazi similarity but that's how I see why the new Star Trek might made them look that way. I mean that way you kill 2 birds with one stone making the Romulans Arabs/Nazi.

The reason I brought up this topic because I never really thought much about the Vulcans, Klingons or the Romulans back in the old episodes because it never did occur to me who they are suppose to represent since it was pretty vague. But there are rumors who they are supposed to represent if you google them but that pretty much been change and add to throughout Star Trek history through different writers and directors.

This isn't the best Star Trek movie, but I did enjoy it. First Contact, Wrath of Kahn, Voyage Home, and the Search for Spock were better though. I didn't like the alternate timeline, and I thought the villain was kind of lame. His reasoning for going after Spock and destroying Vulcan was kind of weak. Other than that, it was a good movie.

Homeworld (computer game) had elements of the Jewish Diaspora and Zionism.

NO other villain in any of the Trek movies was allowed to succeed to the level that Nero (ahem!) succeeded.

I suppose, with the possible exception of V'ger, and we really don't know what level of destruction that thing managed. (By the way, wouldn't it seem that there would have been about a zillion kajillion beings in the galaxy who would have run straight to Earth and pulverized us, because of what V'ger did, and because it was 'our baby'? But no, no repercussions at all. Ah well, that was lucky)

I am trying to think of better 'Villains' - and ok, I'll give you Montalban, he was more hammy, and absolutely ate up every scene.

    But who else?

    Borg Queen lady?

    Clockwork Orange guy?

    Shakespeare-quoting One-eyed Ahab Klingon guy?

    Plastic stretchy rubber-face guy?

    Stoned guy from Taxi?

    Giant ocean-boiling space-turd whale-mommy?

    Laughing smiling Vulcan Brother guy?

See I am not really thinking ANY of those are clearly *better* 'villains' than Bana's Nero. In fact, some of the quirky things Nero does are quite entertaining, especially the scene when he discovers that the Enterprise just showed up at Vulcan - 'Hello!' 'Hi Christopher, I'm Nero.' All very genial in fact, which was kind of refreshingly interesting.

Anyway, it was pretty clear that he had gone mad with grief, lost all real reason, and was probably the most sympathetic of all of the Trek foils.

    Just my .02

I loved the movie and I can't wait to see what they come out with next. This is part of a series of movies, isn't it?

By the way, I never watched Star Trek outside of the fact that my old babysitters used to love it and so it was sometimes playing in the background. I knew the basic ideas and characters, like Kirk, Spock, beaming, warp speed, Vulcans, etc...but that was about it going into the theater.

    Thoroughly, thoroughly pleased.

By the way, did anyone catch J.J. Abrams' salute to Cloverfield (and to a lesser extent, Alias) when Uhura was ordering drinks at the bar?

The bartender suggests "Slusho Mix", which is also on the front of the menu.
