This game is amazing. So much freedom and great game play!! More ways to kill time I don't already have.
I've checked out the demo and was impressed. I'm debating whether or not to pick it up today. The review I read said it takes about 30 hours to beat all the way through for each side you take (good or evil).
I was at gamestop today...couldnt decide if i wanted UFC or Infamous...so I bought neither. Im on the fence.
Both look great, but unless you have a ton of people to play with or love fighting games, I'd probably go with Infamous. I was looking at both and will go with that one.
I was almost tempted to buy this new, which besides sports games I haven't done in years... with the only exception I can think of being SF4. For sure this looks awesome though... definitely enjoyed the demo. Never thought I'd say it, but... I think with the release of inFamous and the flop of Star Ocean 4, the PS3 definitely surpasses the 360 as far as quality exclusives goes (if it didn't already do that with the release of Killzone 2, which IMO is now the best console shooter on the market).
I picked it up yesterday and stayed up way too late playing last night. So far, I'm really enjoying it. It has a great open world feel, and the electrical powers are pretty sweet. Cole traverses the city and climbs just like Sly. The story seems engrossing, and I'm curious to see how it plays out. There are a ton of side missions, but they do get a bit repetitive only 20% through the game. The main gameplay seems to have more variety. I also love collectathons, and Infamous features 2 different items to scout the city for. Fortunately, they have been detection radars of said items into the mapping system, so you're not obsessively looking under every nook and cranny for that last item.

Man...I have played this game for couple of hours now. Absolutely great. So much fun. There is so much freedom in the way you can get the bad dudes down. You can make evil or good choices. Moving across the building and items is effortless. Good story, decent graphiscs. Great character. This game has it all.
I played the demo for a bit and it was fun and already difficult so I can see myself having hours of angry fun. I'll definitely rent though.
Damn it, I was going to skip this title but after all the good stuff people are saying about it I'm going to have to pick it up. That seals it. After my LSAT on June 8 I'm picking up Killzone 2, Infamous and MLB 09. That'll last me through the summer! (or tide me through to God of War III and Heavy Rain).
I actually like Gears as the best, and I cannot get enough of Fable 2... Unfortunately I have become addicted to Halo 3 all over again... I love Killzone though as well. MGS is damn fun too....
