Cleveland's offense is bad but they have also been missing defensive assignments in the most inopportune times. Like that wide open dunk by Howard in OT when Varajeo was guarding him. Their pick and roll coverage too is bad. If Yao can cover Dwight there is not reason why Ilgauskas shouldn't be able to. Just stay on him.

How is LeBron's supporting cast better than Kobe's?

Seriously are you guys even watching both series?

Man, please pass me some of what you are smoking. I'm not saying LeBron is better than Kobe...but you are nuts if you think the surrounding talent is anything near equal. Gasol and Odom are better than every other player on the Cavs roster. So is Bynum when healthy, in mind and body. Not to mention the aspect of having a post presence that you can go to for points, so you don't have to do everything 24/7.

Ever heard of the term intangibles? Because LeBron's supporting cast has about a million times more intangibles than the Lakers.

You really think Jordan Farmar, Shannon Brown and Lamar Odom have more intangibles than Ben Wallace, Joe Smith and Sasha Pavolovic?

It is funny you bring up LeBron's defensive supporting cast when the "Most Overrated NBA Player" in your opinion is dominating this series.

Rashard Lewis the guy that couldn't even score over Brian Scalabrine is playing great in the 2nd half in 3 of the 4 games.

Rafer Alston lit them up tonight.

Gasol, yes. Odom, no. He's shooting 32% in current series.

The Lakers blew out the Cavaliers in the regular season in both meetings ... one with Kobe hardly playing his minutes because he was very sick.

Well Rashard Lewis is scoring against Ben Wallace and Andy V. I've been saying this and saying this for a while and that's that the Celtics would've cake walked to the Finals if they had at least a 90% Kevin Garnett. At least.

Kobe has the better supporting cast, but not as much as most people think.

Those intangibles sure are showing in this series.

So he is shooting around what Mo Williams is shooting, the Cavs 2nd best player?

Is it me, or is this one of the worst playoff threads in a long time? A lot of juvenile drivel to sift through.

Not to mention Kobe has the better coach.

In OT Mike Brown was in the back walking around while the Assistant was drawing up the plays.

Gasol is pretty good, but LBJ has 3 refs on his side, that's huge advantage.

Will Mike Brown still leave Rafer wide open and dare him to shoot? Rafer has already kicked their butts in 2 games.

Well.. I did it many times.. :)

I had to do it, nobody else said 3-1.. I mean I predicted 3-1 after LeBrick hit that lucky shot after game 2... thats bold.

He was saying the supporting cast is about even..the only difference is the main sidekick Gasol.

Kobe can't win it by himself.
LeBron can't win it by himself.

Both of them have been carrying their teams, but one person can't win a game by their lonesome.
Kobe has been getting needed help from Gasol. He is the only one that has been consistent.
    Moe is iffy and inconsistent.

Sure has this thread is filled with criticizing LeBron because he isn't MJ early on even though the man is averaging 42,7,and 7(if not then close to it).

The hate for certain players can bring the quality of a thread down. If Orlando was struggling I'm guessing the thread would be filled with Dwight Howard hating.
