I actually don't think it is as unrealistic as it may seem at first glance considering how far Houston went without BOTH Yao and TMac. To add Big Z, Big Ben and Mo to the gritty squad that took the Lakers to game 7 would be huge.... they could have definitely used Ben and Z against Bynum and Gasol!!

And of course with Cleveland, they would have their new age big 3 in LBJ, Yao, and TMac to sell tickets and be the ultimate global marketing juggernaut, if not contend for championships.

I think it is win-win for both teams!

Trade Yao straight up for Chris Bosh

Similar stats for the season (Bosh +3 in ppg) and Bosh's athleticism and quickness would help the defense. Able to play the pick and roll and get back in transition.

Against trading Yao, AB, Artest, Battier, and Scola. Tmac, Landry (zero low post D), Vonn ignorant, Lowry, Barry, and Cook. Whatever, blockbuster we can muster to move these dudes is more than worth it. We need an athletic backup center for the nights when we are getting torched by the PnR with Yao in the game.

Your IQ is nil. You fail. That is the worst trade scenario of the century.

Will Daryl Morey care about our opinion, NO?
so everything we talking here is nearly useless for them.
Everything is just business, money is their goal.

    From ESPN

"Mike: With 76 million already in committed salary in 2010, is there any way the Wizards actually keep the number 5 pick?

Chad Ford: No, I think they probably trade it. They would prefer a veteran if they can't get Griffin or Rubio. I know a lot of teams are calling. Still unclear what they are looking for.
    "

Would you be willing to take on Arenas poison contract + Caron Butler + #5 pick for McGrady and filler (Barry, Cook or trade exceptions)

Is there even anyone decent at #5? If the Thabeet kid fell that far, he would probably be an excellent backup center. Maybe a Jordan Hill or even a PG prospect.

God, why do people always pull this card? It's just fans throwing things out there for fun. I don't think anyone here is dilusional enought to think Morey will log on, read a post, and think "damn, why didn't i think of that?" It's like the "you've never played in the NBA so you can't criticize a player's performance" argument. Kinda stupid.

What about Jason Kidd for Tracy Mcgrady. Kidd makes little over 20 million. Pretty much a straight up trade.

sure, the Wiz would never do that. They wouldn't even do it without the pick thrown in there..

It would save them a ton of money, I bet they would highly consider it.
