I don't think anyone is arguing that
hell . .. i have worked for a bunch of business
and they all pulled a bunch of DICK MOVES

    just because . . it's business
doesn't negate the fact that it is a Dick Move

By your definition, the NBA is full of wealthy, D*ck players.

Not any more of a dick move than trading Stromile Swift, no?

If 95% of the players and owners are d*cks, then it's the rule and not the exception and there was nothing d*ckish about trading Cat. I think it's ridiculous. You could argue Cat is a d*ck for playing hard in Sactown and then slacking off when the Clippers gave him the long-term contract.

He has displayed very little value here-why the Spurs did not keep him....trade him and use his spot for someone else

Cuttino always came to camp here in top shape and ready to play--one season for less money than he could have gotten elsewhere

I liked Cuttino as a Rocket, Magic and King. In fact, after his season in Sacramento, I wanted the Rockets to re-sign him.

Barry is so slow defensively that I now prefer Wafer's cluelessness. I really think he'll retire.

Most very wealthy people and/or business minded folks are dicks, so that is about right.

    I second that.

To many times this year I have seen him throw bad passes, miss open threes and play bad defense. There are a couple pros to keeping him but I think that it would be best we let someone else have his spot.

I'd think Brent Barry might know more than anyone that his actual play didnt help his cause. He's played to a more advanced age than anyone in his family already. He got worse as the season went on...all signs point to decline. The only positive any team would pick him up now is for locker room presense, maybe occassional spot up 3. If he's end of bench inactive list material next year, fine. Otherwise, sadly, he's an expendable vet.

Its a dick move if you straight just try to get rid of him by himself making it like he's a team killer. Its not a dick move if he's part of a transaction meant to improve your club.

Barry was kind of a disappointment last season. Veteran insight aside, he doesn't really bring anything that we can't get from Von Wafer. I think we got him one year too late.

Shouldn't have ever signed him. Trade his ass!
